What Are Your Core Values?

I just finished reading a book, called "The Happiest Man on Earth" by Eddie Jaku. I will tell you full out... this book rocked my world.
A lot of things he mentions in the book, such as happiness, love, the importance of family have always been pillars in my life, but reading this book relit a fire under me.
It reminded me how important it is to have core values and morals in life and to speak up when things don't seem right. It's important to have a north star, a compass, a filter to run things through so you can make decisions and show up confidently each day.
It's not only important to have core values in life, but also in business. Many times these can be different, however, I find that I tend to mesh the two.
My core values are:
Transparency
Collaboration
Authenticity
Integrity
Wonder
Kindness
These are the things that I apply to my life on a daily basis, whether it be working with clients, friends, or family.
When you learn your core values, I find that some things tend to open up a bit in life. Making decisions for your life and business change, because you can now filter things through your values.
For example, I would not create a service or program that I did not think would truly provide value and help others, this would not be in alignment with my core value of integrity.
I operate my business with transparency because I want to be open and honest and be real about how things work and the journey it has taken me to get here.
In life, I think it is important not to lose our child-like wonder. There is so much magic around us, many stop to appreciate this as we once did as kids and we simply don't HAVE to lose this because we are older.
Kindness.... don't get me started.. I truly believe that if every person in this country/world filtered their communication through the filters, is what I'm about to say truthful? is it necessary? is it kind? This world would be a better place.
