My Why Part 3...

Dating was fun, it was nice to get to meet people and learn about others. I started to get back into a groove and my confidence improved. I went on a date with my first bumble swipe and he was wonderful… and even brought me a self-development book “You’re a badass at making money” by Jen Sincero on our first date. This date was wonderful, but I was not ready to be serious… about ANYTHING….

A few months went by and my first bumble date circled back around. For some reason, I couldn’t stop thinking about him and how there was just something special about him… a caring and kindness that I had never experienced before.

We reconnected on a second date…. That was lackluster, due to an issue I was having with the cleaning business that day… and frustration trying to find a parking spot in the city…. The one thing that I feel changed everything though, was what Scott did next. He scheduled our third date. Right then and there, he didn’t leave it up to a “we will get together later or I’ll schedule something with you soon”, he said “when can we see each other again?”. We made the date and that was the date that changed everything.

It was a rainy day in Newhope, PA. I picked the restaurant…. Karlas and I picked the worst seat in the house, right near the door and it was a cold and rainy day. I wore my rainboots and raincoat. Magic happened that night and we ended up talking for 6 hours… and funny enough it happened to be the “Full Moon Party” so there was music, twinkle lights, and magic in the air on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. We talked about life, love, family, our values, our journey in entrepreneurship. I felt at home. I knew there was no turning back….

Fast forward, 2 and a half years and we are creating a life together. We have a house, a digital marketing business that we are working on growing together, and so much love and respect for each other.

I have lived in this crazy world of entrepreneurship and found someone to run along side me. I feel so incredibly grateful and fortunate to having someone in my life who loves and appreciates all that I am, and I feel the same about him. We help each other be the best versions of ourselves, each and every day. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

What advice, I have for those who may benefit:

1) Know your why.

2) You can’t rush experience. Take the time to learn and grow your skills.

3) Find someone who is where you want to be and follow their path.

4) Stay focused.

5) Time Block.

6) Choose one business to focus on, don’t spread yourself thin.

7) Brand Yourself

8) Stay Consistent

9) Find your tribe (support)

10) Show your serious, by being successful (much more rewarding this way)

11) Haters gon’ hate… do it anyway.

12) Embrace your mistakes and challenges, you are given these to help you grow.

13) Love Yourself.

14) Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.

15) Be Authentic
