Let's get "crystal clear" on who your target market is.

If you do not have a clear picture of who your marketing to.... it is very unlikely that you will be successful and most likely you will be constantly overwhelmed, when it comes to creating programs and content. 

When you are able to get hyper-focused and clear on who you are speaking to on social media, everything else will start to fall into place. You will start to connect at a whole new level with your audience and you will start making some traction. Creating content and products that appeal to everyone, will cause you to get lost in the shuffle.

Many business coaches and entrepreneurs, including myself (I admit that I am a constant work in progress) tend to struggle choosing one area of focus. We get excited and want to do "everything" and we want to help "everyone". But..... that is not sustainable and a recipe for overwhelm. I'm not saying you can't have a couple different avatars (specific person you are marketing to), but you need to get as specific as possible.

At one point in my entrepreneurial career, I was running three businesses, all very different and who I was marketing to was very broad..... this led to constant overwhelm and a lack of movement in any of my businesses. So trust me... I've been there. 

Now let's get started, to figuring out WHO your target market is? Grab a pen and paper and write down the answers to the following:

1) Who do you help?

If you had 100 people lined up at the door to buy your service or product, who would it be (for inspiration, think about a person you loved working with or a client that was amazing)?

2) How do you help? 

How EXACTLY do you help them achieve the goals they have. How do you help them with their struggles, challenges, and what they want to know more about.

From them hiring you or purchasing your product or program, what does this look like for them?

3) What transformation do you offer?

How do you take them from point A (frustration) to point B (where they want to be)? Simplify explaining this as much as possible, so you are clear.

If you have done the above, GOOD JOB! Now your number one goal is to build an audience of these people and keep them engaged.
