Random Monday thoughts.....
Entrepreneurship is hard. It's not for the faint of heart. It's not easy, by any means.
Entrepreneurship is for people who are special, who think differently, who can deal with others pointing fingers at them or putting them down for doing something....something different.
Growth comes in different stages in entrepreneurship. First by learning not to care so much what others think, because anything other than a "normal" job would be considered strange to others.
Growth in the second stage comes from getting your mindset right. One minute you could be smiling and laughing, the next a puddle on the floor, due to the insecurity of knowing your future is solely on your shoulders. Buck up little camper... no matter how bad it gets, it will always get better.
Growth in the third stage comes from learning the skills necessary, gaining the confidence in the product you are selling or the service you are offering. This does not come quickly, so at this stage you are also learning patience. You are also experiencing what seems like spinning tires (because you are not supposed to get there quickly) or crippling overwhelm.... guess what... this is normal... slow down... deep breathes.
Growth in the fourth stage comes as emotional intelligence. You no longer react to failures the same... you see things differently, you understand the need to challenge yourself and to fail... repeatedly. You see the "beginners" getting started with big ideas and hopes to make millions selling their book or digital product online with no credibility, no audience, and no warm market.... but you know now. You start craving more experience and to grow your network, with other emotionally intelligent people.
Growth in the fifth stage is learning that every single person around you, is in some stage of growth. Just like a child you cannot rush the process. You cannot explain this to those who are not ready to hear it. You can only ask the questions and help guide along the way....
Keep Growing. Everyday. Be Grateful. This is not an easy life, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We all want Health, Happiness, Peace, and Abundance. Let's go!
