Yes, you can preschedule video using BYOB Social.

Instagram- video must be under 15 seconds

Facebook- video can be between 1-20 minutes long

LinkedIn- video must be under 10 minutes (please see details below about requirements)

Pinterest- Video must be under 10 minutes

**If the following is met the video will be posted directly to the Linkedin Platform (rather than your audience having to leave the platform to view).

LinkedIn Native Video Specs

• Minimum video length: 3 seconds
• Maximum video length: 10 minutes
• Minimum file size: 75KB
• Maximum file size: 5 GB
• Orientation: Horizontal or vertical. Note: Vertical videos are cropped into a square in the feed.
• Aspect ratio: 1:2.4 or 2.4:1
• Resolution range: 256×144 to 4096×2304
• Frame rates: 10 – 60 frames per second
• Bit rates: 192 kbps – 30 Mbps
• File formats: ASF, AVI, FLV, MPEG-1, MPEG-4, MKV, QuickTime, WebM, H264/AVC, MP4, VP8, VP9, WMV2, and WMV3.
• Formats that are not supported include: ProRes, MPEG-2, Raw Video, VP6, WMV1as.

You can connect (up to 7) any of the following social media accounts (to pre-schedule content on):

Nope. You can cancel anytime (if you cancel before the end of a billing period, you'll retain access until that billing period is over). 

*If you cancel, it will go into effect for the upcoming billing cycle (does not work retroactively).

You will also be invited to join our BYOB Social facebook group community, where you can join others and post questions as needed.

Once you login to your workspace, you can connect all your social media accounts (that you would like to schedule content on) and start posting!

Yes, unlike many other social media scheduling programs BYOB Social schedules your instagram posts directly to your Instagram Business Account.

You must meet these requirements to be able to post directly:

*you must have an instagram business account or it will send a reminder rather than post directly (to the phone app)

*you must be the owner or admin of the facebook business page connected to your Instagram business account. If you do not have a facebook business page, you can make a page to meet these requirements.

We follow all security guidelines when it comes to posting on all platforms.

In the event that security features are updated or platforms go through an update, you will be required to reconnect the account (we will send you an email that a post did not post and will need to be reconnected).

Nope. This is a common misconception, because prior to 2011, Facebook was really limiting the reach of posts from third party social media management tools. At the time many brands noticed that they got lower reach and engagement numbers when publishing content via third party tools.

However, Facebook development consultant Matt Trainer released the following statement in November 2011:

“…we recently made a fix that added more signals to detect good quality posting behavior. This should improve the situation with the distribution of posts coming from third-party apps in the News Feed.”

In other words, since late 2011 Facebook’s News Feed algorithm has treated posts published via third party social media management tools the same as native posts.

Statistical analysis proves that there is no real difference in reach or impressions between posts published natively and posts published through a third party social media marketing tool on the other platforms as well.
